ABSTRACT

In this chapter Wielenberg further explains his proposed “making relationship,” that instances of non-moral properties robustly cause moral properties, such as moral obligatoriness, to be instantiated. For example, if you come across a child who has caught fire, those features of the situation robustly cause you to be obligated to douse the flames. He also argues in response to Craig's suggestion that God has written the moral law on everyone's heart that the existence of psychopaths refutes this theological claim.
