ABSTRACT

I believe that nearly all who are Interested in the problem of shop management will find themselves in hearty accord with the spirit of the article on the “Principles of Management,” by Messrs. Church and Alford on page 857. If there is anything which the literature of this subject needs it is a clearing away of the. underbrush that obscures the root of the matter and getting a clean-cut separation of the principles involved and their practical application.
