ABSTRACT
I received my doctorate in the field of Environmental Toxicology in 1982 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A few years later I had a rather unique opportunity to take over the operation of a laboratory with an established clientele. The majority of the analytical applications involved forensics. As a consequence, I was launched head first into the legal system and began my career as an expert witness.
