ABSTRACT
Any organization using potentially hazardous laser systems is responsible for providing a safe work environment for personnel. This includes a program to support the organizational goals, and to evaluate and minimize potential hazards. A successful laser safety program must be designed to meet long-range organizational objectives, minimize liability, and reduce employee risk.
