ABSTRACT
The use of hair analysis in forensic cases depends on legal conditions, which differ from country to country and even vary from state to state within the European Union. Whereas legal conditions may be the same for the use of hair analysis in murder cases, the acceptance of hair analytical results varies from region to region, and from court to court concerning drug consumption, drug dealing, general driving ability, certification of drug-dependent physicians, and reliability of witnesses and defendants.
