ABSTRACT

The global struggle between the two superpowers, the US and USSR, continues to be heated. China is a piece of meat which is both large and juicy which they are attempting to acquire. However, this piece of meat is too large for them to swallow. At present, the Soviet revisionists are chiefly contending with the US for Europe. To "concentrate troops on the frontier" of China is just fanfare and intimidation. In the areas of Asia, Africa, and Latin America as a whole, the two superpowers, the US and USSR, are intensifying their struggle. Once the Vietnam war is concluded, the problem of the Middle East will be given priority. In an attempt to broaden their influence in the Middle East, the Soviet revisionists have made some changes in their attitude toward the Palestinian guerrillas by publishing a few statements of support.
