ABSTRACT
About two years ago, while processing questionnaire data gathered from ‘men who have sex with men’ attending HIV prevention workshops, I noticed that about a quarter of the participants self-identified as ‘bisexual’. I found this strange since I had attended many of the workshops as a facilitator but rarely did I hear the participants speak about bisexuality and bisexual experiences.
