Optimal Control Hyperbolic Systems with Bounded Variation of Controls

In this paper we consider a hyperbolic control system with a cost functional depending on the total variation of controls. We prove helly’s principle of choice for functions of several variables with bounded variation and sufficient condition for the existence of an optimal solution for some hyperbolic systems with distributed parameters. Moreover, an application is given for some chemical process.
