ABSTRACT

This chapter summarizes some recent results on the variational stability of a class of nonlinear, infinite dimensional optimal control problems, monitored by Volterra integral equations. It considers the parametrized control problem, and recalls some basic definitions and notations from the theory of multifunctions and set convergence. The chapter discusses the multivalued Volterra equations with regard to the Banach space. It provides a set of assumptions that guarantee the existence of a generalized solution to the Volterra integral inclusion. The chapter discusses the control problem with regard to real separable Hilbert space, and provides a set of assumptions to denote the value of the minimization problem.
