ABSTRACT

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has been widely used in perimenopausal medical care, especially in the USA, Canada and Australia. As a result of a recent survey by Intercontinental Medical Statistics, it is reported that more than 30% of women between the ages of 40 and 65 years in these three countries have been prescribed HRT, and the percentage of women taking HRT is increasing year by year Even though the net percentages of women taking HRT in the UK, France and Japan are smaller than those of the aforementioned three countries, the same increasing trends are observed.
