ABSTRACT
A cDNA library to the sea urchin unfertilized egg poly(A)+RNA was constructed in γgt11 expression vector and screened to isolate the ß-heavy chain cDNA clone by affinity-purified antibody to sperm outer arm dynein heavy chains. Six positive recombinants (γJ292, γJ296, γA101, γA102, γA103, and γA104) were obtained and their epitopes were mapped on the ß-heavy chain. The γJ296 insert DNA was sequenced.
