ABSTRACT
Application of a classification system for dividing, post-flotation sediments facilitates differentiation of the subsoil with respect to granulation on basis of penetration characteristics from the penetration test. Introduction into the system of interpretation procedure basing on assumptions of Harder-Bloh (1988) procedure facilitates, moreover, description of the sublayers with mean values and standard deviation of cone resistance and sleeve friction. The estimated statistical parameters of penetration characteristics are used for prognosing physical and mechanical parameters of subsequent subsoil layers.
