Coastal miliolite formation and history of the early man in southern Saurashtra, Western India

The miliolite formation is the most fascinating and extensively spread formation in the Saurashtra region, Gujarat State, Western India. The discoveries of stratified Palaeolithic artifacts in the context of miliolite formation invalidated the submergence of entire Peninsula during the Palaeolithic period and suggested that the Early Man occupied this region both during the low sea level phase and also during the high sea level phase of the middle Pleistocene.
