ABSTRACT
In this paper a simplified model for the description of the mechanical behaviour of a reinforced blood vessel is presented. The main aim is to analyse the possible benefit, in terms of mechanical strength, gained in patients affected by pathologies inducing sensible modifications to the physical characters of the artery wall by the insertion and complete inclusion of a prosthesis net with wide openings.
