ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to introduce a numerical model that was developed for the coupled hydromechanical analysis of pressure tunnels and shafts in discontinuous rock masses, and to present an example of its application to the concrete lined pressure tunnel of the Alto Lindoso hydroelectric scheme.
