ABSTRACT
This paper presents the rehabilitation of Ashton dam. Special attention is given to the hydraulic design of the stepped spillway. The design is based on experience gained from the model tests conducted for the McClure dam in 1987. Experimental data from more recent studies were compared with the actual design. This review confirms the parameters used for the hydraulic design of the spillway used ten years ago.
