ABSTRACT

This paper provides a chronological analysis of the projects realised to date, describes their hydrogeologic and technological aspects, and highlights the best results obtained and the main problems that have arisen. Obviously, due to space reasons, we do not show all the tests done, but only the most significant ones. This paper also includes the last three actions programmed, i.e. Mancha Real, Alcalá la Real and Gracia-Morenita, one of which is still under research. Likewise, the future Spanish plan to put into operation new artificial recharge of groundwater projects is briefly discussed.
