Principaux aspects de la dynamique d’une population d’Ophiura texturata en Baie de Douarnenez

Sampling of Ophiura texturata was carried out during a two year cycle. Demographic structure is obtained using biometric method. The main parameters of the population are computed. Plurimodal year classes are followed, and the periods of spawning and recruitment are defined. Bathymetrie distribution taking into account the seasonal fluctuation is exposed. Segregation of the year classes and cohorts, and variations of their densities are demonstrated.
