ABSTRACT
Growth and life span of Asterias rubens from a rocky shore of French Brittany are studied biometrically. Five years classes are defined. They are “followed monthly during a two-years period. A rapid technic allowing to determine the period and modalities of spawning has been used. The results are compared with those of other authors.
