ABSTRACT
On the basis of the knowledge of new specimens of changing horns, the validity of the genus Antifer Ameghino is accepted. The Chilean form is adscribed to this genus and a new species, Antifer niemeyeri, is proposed.
ResumenSobre la base del conocimiento de nuevos especímenes de cornamentas de remuda, se acepta la validez genérica de Antifer Ameghino. Se adscribe a él la forma chilena y se propone para ella una nueva especie, Antifer niemeyeri.
