ABSTRACT
Artificial backpropagation (BP) neural network is widely used in robotics, automotive applications and real-time systems. Considering the pattern recognition function of BP network, groundwater quality of Lankao county, Henan province was evaluated by using BP network. BP network used in this application is composed of three layers, they are input, hidden and output layers. Thirty-seven groundwater quality samples from Lankao county, Henan province were chosen as training patterns. Then, thirty-nine groundwater quality samples were evaluated by the trained BP network and the evaluation results are good.
