ABSTRACT
The characteristics of riverside groundwater and the main points in its exploration are discussed in this paper. For evaluation of riverside groundwater, the key point is the recharge from river water. The hydrogeologic concept model and mathematics model must take account of groundwater combined with surface water synthetically. Some problems must be paid attention in the exploitation of riverside groundwater. The riverside groundwater sources are classified herein with practical examples listed.
