ABSTRACT
Beijing is one of the biggest city which use groundwater as its main water supply source. With the rapid development of construction and the increase of population, water demand is also increasing rapidly. Owing to the lack of scientific management, groundwater has been over-exploited for a long time, which led to regional water level down. In the meantime, some ecological and environmental problem appeared, as groundwater pollution and laud subsidence. By analyzing precipitation periods and establishing a most practical model of groundwater ami surface water conjunctive use, this paper puts forward the optimal plans of conjunctive use of groundwater and surface water in Beijing proPEr and the suburbs.
