ABSTRACT

This paper studies the condition about the occurrence and movement of deep-water-level confined karst water, on the basis of analysing and studying the condition about recharge, runoff, discharge and movement regulation, we applied the method of synthetical exploration and the theory of karst water system, established karst water system and set up a karst water model for the transformation between three types of water, and multistage discharge in Yellow River valley area. Applying the theory of karst water strong runoff zone and storage structure, found out a strong runoff zone affectted by silt filling zone far from the Yellow River Adopting the exploration method combined extraction and principle of relatively concentrated water extraction at several separated regions and progressive expanding, found out abundant deep-water-level confined karst water within the area, and two big-middle karst water sources. Chenjiagoumen and Tanggongta water source whose mining yield is really 74930.m3/d by the end of 1995, was set up in 1990 and 1993. The two water sources production proved that the water supply source are stable, good quality with less drawdown of water level, there are no environmental problems such as surface collapse ets. The explored result have achieved remarkable economic and social benefits. These have great guiding significance and practical applicability for developing lower Paleozoic Erathem deep-water-level confined Karst water, and relaxing tight situation in short of supplying water and solving development urgent need of water in district of north China.
