ABSTRACT
The paper describes main results or studying active faults of Eurasia in process of realization of the Project II-2 “World map of major active faults” of the International Lithosphere Program. General regularities of active faulting in the continent: wide belts of faults in the plate boundary areas, predominance of strike-slip motion, manifestations of recent detachment tectonics as well as methods and results of recent geodynamic parameters calculation in the mobile belts are discussed.
