ABSTRACT
Receiving a job offer is undoubtedly the best part of auditioning for anyone, and making an offer is the part of the process I enjoy most too. There is nothing as satisfying as calling an agent or artist to offer someone a part – especially if they have auditioned several times, working hard to get to the required standard. People take the news in different ways from the contained ‘Oh, that’s nice, thank you’ to deafening screams down the phone or even tears of joy (and all these can be from agents too!). There is an unequalled feeling of elation the moment you hear that a job is yours and you have beaten however many other people to the part.
