ABSTRACT
Second, a performer who has been very well known and respected for many decades asked me to share this thought with you – he said ‘I am only still working and being wanted because I have remained useful.’ Indeed, he is right – usefulness is our strongest asset and often the reason that we are employed (I refer to myself here too). Usefulness comes in many forms, it could be your type or look, a very specific skill or area of expertise, or the fact that you are known for being reliable and easy to work with. Never stop being useful and targeting the right people or companies who would benefit most from what you have to offer.
