ABSTRACT
This book has provided an introduction to the European Socio-economic Classification, but in the process several of the chapters have either raised important questions and problems which need to be addressed or else made tangential comments that need to be further explored. That is the principal purpose of this concluding discussion. However, let us begin with a brief summary of what we have established.
