ABSTRACT
This chapter considers what anthropology brings to the study of terrorism and how the discipline can help to facilitate a critical terrorism studies (CTS). I also seek to describe in general terms how social or cultural anthropology represents a cognate discipline which is very much in agreement with the basic principles, core commitments, and research agenda of CTS.1
