ABSTRACT

To date, physical education (PE) has been cited as a strategically useful network throughwhich health-related physical activitymessages can be conveyed virtually to all children (Hagger et al., 2005). However, researchers have constantly shown that interest in PE and physical activity level declines with age (e.g. Biddle, 1995). It is crucial, therefore, to examine factors that influence students’ motivation in PE with different age levels.
