ABSTRACT

The role of ICT in schools has grown rapidly, and continues to do so. There are two aspects to its role; that of enhancing pupils’ learning in Design and Technology and that of making your administrative work easier. This chapter considers teachers’ use of ICT for their own work, although this is connected to work in the classroom. Pupils’ use of ICT is considered in Learning to Teach Design and Technology in the Secondary School (Owen-Jackson 2007).
