ABSTRACT
China and the Chinese economy are crucial to the world. The success of the 18th annual CEA conference fully reflected this fact. The rapidly growing body of academics as well as students studying and investigating China is a further testimony to the growing importance of China. There is a gap in the market for a reference book which would aid these academics as well as students in their research. This reference book comprising the most up-todate work by the most respected researchers, chosen from 145 submissions and 85 speakers from 15 countries at the 18th annual conference, will be able to fill this gap. The book is a collection of research articles.
