Contemporary kids meet contemporary texts, and, while each of these particular experiences is a new one for the participants, the general experience of meeting novel kinds of text is not new. These young people have grown up in a world where they take textual developments and changes for granted. Their habits and preferences are established amidst a welter of new choices.
