ABSTRACT
The circumstances of culture change are complex and varied and they present a major challenge for multinational firms. This teaching module introduces one approach to teaching about culture change. By exploring the classic film Fiddler on the Roof ( Jewison 1971) the module specifically addresses two major forces that affect cultural change: external pressures and intergenerational conflict. From the module, students learn key concepts for identifying the factors of change and managing them effectively.
