ABSTRACT
The making of an adoption order is not the end of the matter – adoption is a life-long experience. The benefits, joys and necessity of adoption are well documented but since loss is a central theme for all parties in adoption, and will undoubtedly surface and resurface at different stages, there is inevitably a strong likelihood that there will be a need for support, advice or information over time.
