ABSTRACT

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

(I Corinthians 13: 11) So writes Paul to the Corinthians, in this verse from the Bible, as if it is a simple truth known to everyone. But are things so straightforward? As children, do we speak and think differently from adults?
