ABSTRACT
W.B. Yeats wrote of the impossibility of telling apart ‘the dancer from the dance’. I suggest it is equally difficult to distinguish the working hypotheses from the workers. In this chapter I will present Jane’s clinical story, and discuss possible working hypotheses generated from a psychoanalytic perspective.
