ABSTRACT
Supervision is an interpersonal process, the success of which owes much (some may even contend almost everything) to the quality of the relationship between the supervisor and supervisee. Alderfer and Lynch (1987: 70) state that, ‘the relationship between the supervisor and supervisee has more impact on the success of the process of supervision than any other factor’.
