ABSTRACT
This chapter aims to understand the dynamics of the impact of innovation on employment in manufacturing industries for developing countries. While the severity of the unemployment problem and the labour-saving nature of technological changes aroused the interest of economists to study the causal links between technological change, growth, and employment in developed economies, the impact of innovation on employment has been a neglected topic for developing countries.
