ABSTRACT
Strictly speaking, juridic ‘extra-territoriality’ will probably remain a ‘privilege’ and an exception for a long time to come. It concerns only very particular cases, like those of embassies, which fall under a juridical or political status other than that of the country in which they are actually located. This displacement is often the source of certain conflicts with the juridical or political context in that the latter functions according to different criteria.
