ABSTRACT
Communication and computing technologies have a special importance for collaborative learning in overcoming some of the bounds of distance and time, making possible collaborations which might not otherwise be able to take place. Technologies can also extend the possibilities for collaboration, offering new opportunities to work in richer or more varied ways. And technologies can change the very nature of collaborative learning.
