ABSTRACT
It cannot be too often that one witnesses a revolution in the science of one’s choice and can see how it occurs. Indeed, I have long been sceptical of Kuhn’s whole notion of paradigm change (Stoddart 1981), without any adequate recognition of the fact that it had happened before my eyes.
