ABSTRACT
Nathaniel Fadipe believed that it was ‘unpardonable’ that when all sorts of economic and other schemes were being drawn up by the British government for Africans, Africans themselves were never consulted. He devoted his life to researching and writing on these issues. As his Barbadian-born physician/memorialist said of him, Fadipe ‘looked at Africa as an entity … [He] brought to every subject a stimulating African viewpoint’.
