ABSTRACT
Amy took a sheet of paper and wrote her name on the top of it with a pencil. She drew a big rectangle with quite smooth movements of her hand and fairly straight lines. She was making comments during the whole time, as follows: ‘Now, all right; a house; I will put a little square and a little round. It will be a bath there,’ and drew three small rectangles and a little circle on the level of the first floor of her house. And-what else? Kitchen?’ as she was thinking, and biting her pencil with her teeth. ‘Up the stairs…. Ye, ye, yep!’
