ABSTRACT

This chapter offers a unique window into the experience of an integrative coach– therapist introducing the concept of Personal Consultancy to an organisation that in the beginning didn’t even know of its existence. It sets out a dialogue using the questions that were raised by the business manager representing the organisation, and demonstrates how, through responses to these questions, a sophisticated understanding was gained around what Personal Consultancy was, where it sat in relation to the other services that were already on offer, how it might be introduced and to whom it could be applied. It concludes with an overview of where the organisation currently is and how it sees itself moving forward with this approach.
