In the public world of government surveillance and citizenry vigilance, the word privacy sounds a red alert. We have been immersed in a maelstrom of controversy regarding the parameters of governmental privacy. Do we protect our civil liberties, or our safety? How slippery a slope can we allow for bureaucratic invasion? But personal privacy?
