ABSTRACT

Rhea arrived in Zahle, Lebanon on December 9, 2013, the same week that the biggest snowstorm in over 100 years hit. After meeting the Women and Girls’ Program team in the makeshift office, her colleague Saban offered to take Rhea to her new home. Saban’s small Renault struggled up the hills to the still-functioning convent where Rhea would stay for the next three months. Rhea’s job was to help the team start up a new project, and to help the new Program Manager and Syrian refugee, Rima, learn about ways to organize and prioritize different parts of her job.
