ABSTRACT
When qualitative researchers consider their projects they usually begin with some general ideas of the research aims, questions and significance. After the what and why ideas have taken some shape, how questions usually arise, leading to decisions about methods and processes. Given that qualitative researchers are interested in people’s individual and collective experiences, interviews are often used to gather participants’ experiential accounts as data.
