ABSTRACT

N 375 . The two groups differed in the distribution of the N375 responsive ness between com prehended and unknown words (Table 8). As for the N200, the low com prehenders showed larger N375 responses to com prehended than to unknown words over all electrode sites (N ew m an-K euls, temporal region = .01, frontal, anterior tem poral, parietal, and occipital regions p = .05), whereas for the high producers these effects were lim ited to anterior temporal and temporal regions (p = .05).
