ABSTRACT
The previous chapters have pictured transitions as a prolonged co-evolution, in which changes at the level of practices and dynamics at the regime level reinforce each other. How may active, creative agency help to realize transitions, understood as bringing about Re-structuration (Grin, 2006): a re-oriented (towards sustainable development) co-evolution of mutually reinforcing novel practices (niche experiments) and structural changes (regime changes)?
